There is a place where the dirt is red, the plants are lime green, and the sky is Robin egg blue. It’s called Indian Creek. It’s wildest parts still untouched by tourists. And, it’s wild tells a story that crack climbers only dream of. Each time we come down that curvy roll that leads to Indian Creek, I fall asleep little more in love .
Today, the weather gave us high winds and long wait lines for all routes shielded from the winds. We decided to hike instead and leave the climbing gear in the car.
It’s important to know when to climb and when to hike, and it was hiking day. It was beautiful, dry and long. Afterwards, we hit the Dolores Brewery. The pale ale is the 8 ball. It was refreshing free and just right.
